Emi Canaj was born on June 18, 1991, in Tirana, Albania. Emi entered the world of modeling at the age of 15, being one of the most prominent models in Albania and abroad such as Italy and Turkey.
In 2007, she participated in Supermodel of Albania, then in various fashion shows with the best Albanian designers such as: Rezarta Skifteri, Joni Peçi, Anila Zaimi, Mimi Memiaj, etc. In 2009, she was one of the leading models of the Italian Burgo Institute, also participating in Fashion Week 2010, as well as Albanian Fashion Week. In 2011 to 2014. She concuerd the covers of the most important magazines in Albania such as: Jeta, Vajka e Dita, Paloma, Panorama, Anabel, etc.
Emi finished her studies in Law, and master-graduated in Criminal Science at “Luarasi” University.
During these years, she also completed acting classes in Italy and in 2016 she participated in the movie Albanians Pit Stop Mafia directed by Fatmir Koçi in the role of Kapo. From here, her path in the field of acting bloomed and she becomed part of the Real Detective series directed by Scott Bailey in the role of Detective Mia. Then in the Albanian film “There is no turning back” in the role of a police chief named “Ardita”, also in the Albanian-Chinese film “Balkan Blood” in the role of the murderer “Tarantula”. Now Emi Canaj is an established and confirmed as one of the best actress in Albania and continuing her career with new projects abroad.
Emi is part of the “Ferdinand Deda” Artistic Association where she is currently continue taking oratorical art lessons, in order to further improve her skills and preparing herself for new international film projects.
